Programs & Trading Rules

The Instant, One Trade, 2-Step and Flash CFD challenges and their core rules.

16. Program Overview

NYS offers four simulated CFD challenges, all on MetaTrader 5, in account sizes $10,000 / $20,000 / $50,000 / $100,000 / $200,000: Instant (instant funding, no target), One Trade (one-step evaluation), 2-Step (two-phase evaluation), and Flash (one-step evaluation with an activation fee). The detailed rules are set out in the Challenges & Rules section and apply together with these Terms.

17. Instant

The Instant Account gives direct access to Live simulated conditions with no profit target. It applies a 3% Maximum Daily Loss, a 5% Maximum Trailing Loss, a 1% Maximum Open Risk, a 2% Maximum Risk per Trade Idea, a 15% consistency target, and leverage up to 1:100. At least 7 profitable days within a 30-day period are required before a payout.

18. One Trade

One Trade is a one-step evaluation with a 10% profit target, a 3% Maximum Daily Loss, a fixed 6% Maximum Loss, a 30% consistency target (Funded stage), and leverage up to 1:100. There is no minimum number of days during the Evaluation, advancement requires reaching the target. Once funded, at least 5 profitable days are required before a payout.

19. 2-Step

The 2-Step Challenge has two phases (8% then 5%) with a 5% Maximum Daily Loss and a fixed 10% Maximum Loss, and leverage up to 1:100. No minimum days during evaluation; once funded, at least 5 profitable days are required before a payout.

20. Flash

Flash is a one-step evaluation with a 6% profit target and a 4% End-of-Day (EOD) trailing drawdown (there is no separate intraday daily-loss limit), a 30% consistency target in the Funded stage, and leverage up to 1:100. It has a low entry fee plus an activation fee charged when you pass to the Funded stage. Once funded, at least 5 profitable days are required before a payout.

21. Evaluation and Funded Accounts

Profits attributable to prohibited conduct do not count toward qualification. A Funded Account remains a simulated Program Account owned and controlled by the Company; Funded status grants only the contractual participation and performance-reward rights expressly stated in these Terms and does not transfer ownership of any account, position, or Company asset.

22. Maximum Daily Loss

Where it applies, the Maximum Daily Loss is equity-based (closed and floating P/L included), measured against the value recorded at the start of the trading day, and resets at 21:00 UTC. It is 3% on Instant and One Trade, 5% on 2-Step, and does not apply to Flash (which uses only its 4% End-of-Day trailing drawdown). Reaching the limit closes the account for the day.

23. Maximum & Trailing Loss

Instant applies a 5% trailing loss based on the account’s highest equity (moving up on new highs, never down, monitored continuously). Flash applies a 4% End-of-Day (EOD) trailing drawdown based on the highest end-of-day equity (it starts 4% below the initial balance and moves up only on a new end-of-day high, never down). One Trade applies a fixed 6% Maximum Loss and 2-Step a fixed 10% Maximum Loss, measured from the initial balance and not resetting. Reaching the applicable limit breaches the account.

24. Consistency

The consistency target limits how much of your total accumulated net profit can come from your most profitable trading day (and, on One Trade and Flash, your most profitable individual trade). Instant applies 15%; One Trade and Flash apply 30% in the Funded stage. 2-Step has no consistency target. Exceeding the target does not breach the account, but payouts cannot be requested until it is met.

25. Platform, Leverage and Instruments

All challenges trade on MetaTrader 5, across the markets available on the platform. Maximum leverage is up to 1:100 across all challenges, depending on the instrument (Forex up to 1:100, Metals up to 1:30, Indices up to 1:20, Energies up to 1:10, Crypto CFDs up to 1:2).

26. Trading Flexibility

Manual trading, personal strategies, Expert Advisors (EAs) as personal trade/risk managers, scalping, intraday, swing, overnight holding and weekend holding are permitted, provided all risk-management rules are respected.

27. Profitable Days and Payout Eligibility

A profitable day requires a minimum net profit of 0.25% of the initial balance (closed trades, including commissions and swaps; floating profit not counted). Instant requires 7 profitable days within a 30-day period; One Trade, 2-Step and Flash each require 5 profitable days once funded.

28. Profit Split

The profit split is 80% to the trader / 20% to NYS Markets on the approved gross payout amount. NYS Markets may, at its sole discretion, propose a scaling plan to the trader.
