Funded Profit Target
The Bee provides direct access to a Funded Account without an Evaluation phase.
The Funded Profit Target is 8%.
Only profits from closed trades count toward the Profit Target. Floating profits do not count until the position is closed.
Reaching the 8% target does not automatically make the full profit available for withdrawal. Any payout request remains subject to the profitable-day requirement, Payout per request, Consistency per Position and all other applicable conditions.
Risk Limits
The following risk controls apply from the moment The Bee Account is activated:
- 2% Daily Pause.
- 4% Maximum Loss EOD.
Daily Pause
The Daily Pause is set at 2%.
If the account reaches the Daily Pause threshold, trading is paused for the remainder of the trading day.
Reaching this threshold does not close the account. The account remains active and trading may resume on the following trading day.
Maximum Loss EOD
The Maximum Loss EOD is a 3% trailing limit based on the highest end-of-day account value recorded. The active loss threshold is calculated as Highest end-of-day account value − 3% of the highest end-of-day account value.
The limit:
- Starts 3% below the initial account value.
- Is recalculated when a new end-of-day maximum is recorded.
- Moves upward only.
- Never moves downward.
- Does not reset at the beginning of a new trading day.
- Remains active throughout the following trading session.
- Initial end-of-day maximum
- $100,000
- Initial Maximum Loss EOD threshold
- $97,000
- New end-of-day maximum
- $105,000
- 3% of $105,000
- $3,150
- Updated Maximum Loss EOD threshold
- $101,850
If the account value subsequently reaches or falls below $101,850, the Maximum Loss EOD has been breached and the account is closed.
Consistency Target
No single position may represent more than 20% of the total accumulated net profit.
The calculation is:
Profit from the most profitable position ÷ Total accumulated net profit × 100
If the result exceeds 20%:
- The account is not breached.
- The profits are not removed.
- The trader may continue trading.
- A payout cannot be requested until additional profits reduce the percentage to 20% or below.
Copy Trading
Copy Trading is permitted only on $25,000 and $50,000 Bee Accounts.
It may only take place between NYS Markets accounts owned and controlled by the same trader and with the same account size.
Copying trades from third parties, coordinating trading activity with other individuals or replicating activity between accounts belonging to different traders is not permitted.
Copy Trading is not available on the $100,000 Bee Account.
News Trading
News Trading is allowed.
Positions may be opened, closed or managed during economic news events.
All trading activity must continue to respect the Daily Pause, Maximum Loss EOD, Consistency per Position and applicable contract limits.
Prohibited Trading Practices
NYS Markets permits different futures trading styles, provided that the activity reflects genuine market trading and responsible risk management.
The following practices are not permitted:
- Toxic order flow or activity designed to exploit the execution environment rather than genuine market movements.
- Latency arbitrage, price-feed exploitation or the use of delayed, frozen or incorrect market data.
- Excessive order placement, repeated order modifications or order flooding intended to manipulate or overload the trading infrastructure.
- Opposite or coordinated positions between accounts intended to guarantee a result or avoid genuine market risk.
- Excessive exposure, overleveraging or position sizing that is inconsistent with responsible risk management.
- Accumulating disproportionate exposure across one or more futures instruments.
- Copying trades or signals from third parties or coordinating trading activity with other individuals.
- Allowing another person or an external service to manage or operate the account.
- Any strategy designed to bypass, manipulate or avoid the applicable risk limits, consistency requirements or contract limits.
Position sizing, contract usage and total exposure must remain reasonable and consistent with responsible risk management.
NYS Markets may take appropriate measures when trading activity presents disproportionate exposure, excessive leverage or patterns that are inconsistent with genuine and reasonable trading behaviour.
